At Yorkshire Carpet Binding we offer carpet edging service for either your own supplied carpet or we can supply suitable carpet. We are ideally located to provide the service to all areas within the East Yorkshire region. We are easy to find on the main road into Goole with plenty of parking nearby. For a simple item such as a rectangular rug or runner we may be able to provide you with a quotation for the work over the phone or in an email.
For more complex work involving shaped loose rugs, for example for a boat or caravan, then we would need to arrange a vist to measure for the work. We will provide you with a quotation at the time of our visit and, should you wish to proceed, we will take your carpet away to carry out the work and return it when complete. Delivery charges apply. Carpet edge binding, or whipping as it is sometimes known, is a process which stitches the edges of a rug or carpet to create a neat, attractive edge.
The edges of the carpet is stiched (over-locked) with either a quality wool or a polypropylene yarn.
