Carpet Centre has been trading in Tamworth for over 30 years, run by Martin Wadlow and his father Brian Wadlow (now retired).
Brian started in carpets over 40 years ago, first as a sales man, then working his way to store manager, then area manager before opening his own store 'Carpet Centre'.
His son Martin started in the company whilst still at school, working on busy Saturdays.
Then progressed from learning the ins and outs of the trade acompanying the carpet fitter to working more regularly in the shop, to being full time in the shop and eventually taking over the family business.
