We're not just another faceless online retailer! Preston Rugs are part of Carpet and Furniture Supplies, a leading northwest retailer of quality carpet and vinyl floor coverings as well as quality sofas, chairs, dining, cabinet furniture and of course rugs! Mr Tapsell opened our store over 50 years ago with an aim to supply the highest quality products with a service second to no one.
Today, over 50 years on, our store is run by Mr Tapsell's son and grandson. We still follow the same aim to offer the best quality, best value products on the market with an after sales service that will not be beaten! In 1961 Mr Tapsell decided that due to starting a family and the advent of the fitted carpet (before most carpets were really just large rugs) it was time to open a shop and not only sell carpets but offer professional fitting too.
