Allander Flooring Ltd. evolved from Townhead Carpets Ltd. which had a long presence in Milngavie village but the name was associated with Kirkintilloch where it started trading in 1973. So in 2014 it was decided to change the name of the business to Allander Flooring Ltd. Allander being synonymous with Milngavie. The company is owned by Ian Lavrie, a lifelong resident of Milngavie, Ian has over forty years experience in the carpet and floor covering business.
We offer all types of carpeting to both retail and contract sectors, Wool Twists, Axminsters, Wiltons, Saxony, you name it we do it. We also offer a full range of cushioned vinyl, LVT, Lino tiles and sheet Lino. We run Laminate, Engineered Wood and solid Wood ranges also. All of which can be installed by us. When it comes to having your carpet fitted or wood floor installed we provide a full preparation and installation service.
