2014 sees the 50th anniversary of Linney Cooper Ltd, during that time the family run company has gone from strength to strength.
The company was originally acquired by the current chairman Mr Robert Henry Hughes (Bob Carpets) and was run from the basement of his home before the first shop was opened in Colwyn Bay.
Brinley Jones worked with his uncle followed by his sons Gareth in 1974 and Alan in 1987.
His grandson Richard joined the expanding family company in 2007 and is now based at the London warehouse and showroom in Fulham.
